History of the Bureau
Chekharda studio specializes in creating unique natural play spaces for children and adapting urban environments to the interests of children and families. Over the years, Cheharda has designed numerous comprehensive play spaces in urban and country parks, residential courtyards, private properties, and along waterfronts. We have also successfully implemented projects for children's clubs, kindergarten grounds, and natural playgrounds.

In 2014, Daria Bychkova, the founder of Cheharda, received a grant from the Aström Sverker Foundation (Sweden) to study natural playgrounds in Scandinavia. This acquired experience largely defined the core ideology of all our subsequent work. Since its inception, Cheharda has actively advocated for the rights of urban children to harmonious development and play in the most natural environments possible, which best compensate for the modern "nature deficit."
Chekharda succeeds in creating architecture of an entirely new format using familiar, basic materials. In our playgrounds, we transform wood, stones, ropes, and other common natural elements into striking, almost cosmic artistic forms. A defining feature of Cheharda's playgrounds is the seamless integration of large, intact fragments of nature, such as trees with their primary branches preserved.

Complex play structures are built without compromising the integrity of these original natural elements. This ambitious challenge is met and solved through the use of cutting-edge computer technologies.
